Boston University ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR, NEIDL, NEIDL Administration in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Assistant to the Director will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Director and Leadership team at Boston University's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL). They will support communication and implementation of organizational plans and strategic priorities based on the direction and vision of the Director of the NEIDL. The Assistant to the Director will be responsible for triaging and managing the flow of communication between the Executive Director and internal and external stakeholders including government partners at the local and federal levels. The Assistant to the Director will coordinate the administrative and faculty actions aspects of the faculty search processes and will ensure efficient, streamlined and effective recruitment efforts in alignment with all University policies and best practices. This position will develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders furthering the research, reputation and reach of the NEIDL.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred and 3-5 years of work experience.
