  • Provide support to the PO Controller in managing and providing career development opportunities for the PO Finance analysts. This includes reviewing work completed by the financial analyst team, analysis of actual to budget variances for the PO and Foundations. Analyze salary, expense, and revenue trends. Produce reporting to explain variances to budget and prior year. Assist with the recruiting, training, supervision and evaluation of analysts

  • Partner with various depts within the PO and Foundations in the development of revenue related information including volume, RVUs, budgeted statistics, payor mix analyses, and gross and net revenue for the budget cycle. Participate in the preparation, review and delivery of schedules to the budget team

  • Work with the PO Budget and Investment Manager, assist in providing oversight in the monthly data validation process for source system data into PO and Foundation planning application for budgeting, forecasting and reporting

  • Assist PO Finance Leadership in the review and analysis of monthly financial results for the PO and Foundations and provides recommendations. Prepare operational statistical reports to track key performance measures. Train and mentor analysts on development of month-end reporting packages

  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports that assist leadership in fulfilling their responsibilities

  • Partner with PO Finance and Foundation leadership on development and maintenance of service line reporting and operational profit and loss presentations for chiefs, committees, and senior leadership. Assist in the preparation of ad hoc analyses on financial performance

  • Work with outside auditors to facilitate a smooth and efficient year-end audit process for the PO and Foundations. Coordinate the preparation of the audited financial statements including the interpretation of accounting principles and development of financial disclosures. Assist with oversight of PO Finance analysts

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or a closely degree and 6 years’ Accounting experience is required. A Master’s degree is preferred

  • CPA is preferred

  • Excellent Microsoft skills

  • Experience in EPIC & Hyperion Budget a plus

  • Analytical skills to resolve human resources, legal, financial, or administrative

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with foundation administrative staff to ensure that internal controls are implemented and

  • Hybrid/remote – 1x a month at 401 Park Drive, Boston, MA
