The Area Manager of Professional Installation Services plays a key role in fulfilling our passion by leading and engaging Hologic Project Managers to deliver on-time and successful installations of our life-changing devices.

This role will drive the end-to-end capital implementation strategy including project planning, capital product installations, capital upgrades, and room renovation while driving initiatives resulting in a new streamlined model that enables installation consistency, improved performance, costs, and governance. This is a customer-facing role representing Hologic at the highest standard. This role is highly dynamic, requiring strong leadership and influence skills with the ability to manage talent, deliver results, and build strong relationships. Collaboration and clear communication are crucial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other functional-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities, as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for all aspects of customer facing capital project implementation to reduce complexity, reduce costs, mitigating risk, improve quality, shortening lead times, and improve forecast accuracy.

  • Lead, manage, and engage a team of project managers and site readiness specialists.

  • When necessary, directly manage installation projects.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Connectivity Engineering, Field Engineering and Operations to align strategy and improve workflow.

  • Spearhead initiatives in conjunction with commercial leadership to ensure delivery of capital products on time and on budget.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CSAT, optimize workflow, and reduce operational costs.

  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and recommend actionable strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Continuously develop/enhance productivity and operational processes. Implement industry best practices for project revenue forecasting, scope of work creation, risk mitigation, and vendor management.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive accountability and end-to-end process improvements. Take decisive action when levels and commitments are not met.

  • Partner across the enterprise to achieve successful outcomes for Hologic while influencing changes in behaviors or outdated processes when necessary, fostering a continuous improvement mind set

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Advanced certifications in project management preferred.

Experience:

  • AMinimum of 8 yearsof progressive experience within project management, operations, service, orsupply chain.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisor or manager level role required.

  • Proven track record of managing improvement projects while delivering measurable improvements.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a focus on talent development and performance management.

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $97,200 to $161,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
