Boston University ACADEMIC TESTING CENTER, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, Dean of Students, Disability Services in BOSTON, Massachusetts

The Academic Testing Center, Associate Director will oversee the Boston University Academic Testing Center for students receiving academic disability testing accommodations. This position will coordinate reasonable testing accommodations with academic leadership, faculty, staff the University Registrar, and others as needed to comply with obligations under federal and state law, and to preserve the exam integrity process. In addition, they are expected to develop professional training programs that promulgate a deep commitment to the creation of inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities. The incumbent will participate in the strategic planning, budgeting, assessment, the ongoing development as well as the daily operation of the Academic Testing Center. Given the nature of this position, this individual may be required to work a flexible schedule to ensure continuity of operations during peak periods such as (but not limited to) midterm and final exam periods.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience required, Master's degree preferred.

  • Excellent communication, service skills as well as attention to detail is required.

  • Previous academic testing services experience is desired.
