Quality Control Inspector

Essential Tasks Performed

Conduct a variety of tests on parts including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, vertical height gauges, plug gauges, etc.

Verify or reject conforming/nonconforming parts by analyzing measurements and/or visuals

Promptly communicate quality control issues with foreman, operators, and inspectors.

Document and monitor data of parts (i.e. tolerance ranges, visuals, common issues)

Ensure all the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed at every production phase.

Rework supervision, Developing or Implementing new Quality programs.

Labeling and signing off on completed product.

IAuditor

Confirming proper equipment is available including but not limited to proper material, red books, gauges, labels, packaging, pack, etc.

Making rounds (specifically 3 per shift or every 2 hours) in a timely manner

Assist other departments as needed to support business operations.
