We are currently hiring a Tool Preparation Technician for our Sumner location. Accrued time is available to use immediately! Pay: $20.30/hr - $24/hr Position As a Tool Coordinator Technician, you will maintain and clean lamination tools following standard work instructions. Tool Coordinator Technician Responsibilities include: Pull the tool from the allocated rack and place onto moving cart on wheels; place in staging area, retrieve the next empty cart, and place tool back on racks. Verify tool (saw fixture or end-routing fixture) needed for the specific part being trimmed, according to the documentation provided attached to the part. Responsible for general area clean-up and any other duties to keep trimmers at their workstations. Compiles physical inventories and reconciles with perpetual inventory records at the end of the year. Abilty to comprehend written instructions and follow demonstrated steps. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communicable skills; verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications: Time Management Skills Basic Math Skills Working Conditions: While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
