Description

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accountant in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The Accountant will operate within the financial industry, ensuring compliance with company and relevant accounting regulations, as well as maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all internal and external accounting and financial procedures.

• Analyze and compile financial data for the company.

• Generate regular reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.

• Present financial data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders as needed.

• Maintain the accuracy of the company's financial records.

• Resolve any account discrepancies that may arise.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

Requirements • Applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounting role is required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is necessary.

• The candidate should be proficient in identifying and resolving Account Discrepancies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, is required.

• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage, is beneficial.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.

• Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

• The candidate should demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
