We are seeking a product manager with energy and sustainability experience to bring their unique perspective and capabilities to our team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work with an amazing, dedicated cross-functional team including design, engineering, client success, sales, and more. You will contribute to the success and vision of our market-leading solutions, reaching millions of people across the globe.

What You’ll Make Happen:
Provide energy subject matter expertise across Opower products—with a special focus on the business customer engagement product solutions as well as energy-saving tips.
Contribute to Opower’s product strategy and roadmap planning.
Meet with and learn from client-facing teams and utility employees about their business and the challenges they face.
Work with multiple engineering teams, product owners, and UX to actively manage projects cross-functionally and ensure successful outcomes.
Demonstrate outstanding product design and technical decisions by contributing to and reviewing technical design documents and architecture.
Support localization of Opower’s product content.
About You
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, energy policy, sustainability, or related fields
5 years of related professional experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills tailored for a wide variety of audiences in English
Fantastic analytical skills: ability to solve problems quickly, establish frameworks, think on your feet and generalize solutions
Ability to synthesize technical information and data to create engaging product content while maintaining technical accuracy
Experience working with utilities
Understand the importance of prioritization to build an impactful product that moves metrics
Bring the principles of user-centered design to your work
Eager to learn continuously – about new technologies, products, and industry trends
Your attention to detail is renowned
Passion for energy and/or sustainability
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment

Responsibilities
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74,700 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
