As a Photomask Wet Process Engineer at MTC (Mask Technology Center), Micron Technology, Inc., you are responsible to develop, implement, and sustain mask cleaning and resist strip technologies to meet Micron’s technology roadmap requirements on time. You will also work with other wet process and equipment support engineers to continue improve our current mask cleaning equipment and process capabilities and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide guidance on mask cleaning technology roadmap for both optical and EUV masks.

  • Develop and implement advanced mask clean and resist strip processes.

  • Provide fundamental understandings of process capabilities and issues.

  • Initiate and implement new or optimized processes in a timely manner through systematic DOE with the goal of improving mask manufacturing yield and efficiency.

  • Effectively conduct process development with appropriate planning, execution, report, and decision

  • Develop effective process/equipment monitoring and trouble-shooting guidelines or methods.

  • Attends and participates in 8D, Process Maturity Check (PMC), SPC (Space Charts), Transfer & provide support to manufacturing, such as troubleshooting equipment issues, reacting to production metrics.

  • Collaborate internally and across teams to brainstorm and apply rigorous problem-solving techniques to solve problems and make continuous improvements.

  • Proactively communicates issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss.

  • Collaborate with other area process development engineers to improve overall mask capability.

  • Provide support to Micron HVM fabs on EUV mask clean process development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in semiconductor or mask wet process development

  • Good understanding and ability to explain process mechanisms.

  • Extensive mechanical hands-on experience

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance.

  • Be able to work independently or as a team member.

  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and document experimental results.

  • Ability to understand test results and provide solutions.

  • Skills with Data Science and modelling would be advantageous.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum B.S in engineering or related fields
