Integration Business Planning Analyst – Intern

At Micron, a global semiconductor company, you will learn Supply Chain processes and systems across the following functions: Business Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Global Supply Management, and Demand Management. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in Micron’s Supply Chain performance as you lead a project and provide recommendations in how to increase efficiency and effectiveness. This experience will provide opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally to not only influence within the Supply Chain team, but also across Micron’s Value Chain.

As an Integrated Business Planning Analyst – Intern at Micron, you will work on projects related to the Demand Management and Sales & Operations Planning teams. The relationship between supply, demand, inventory and the corresponding business strategy will help you learn and understand Micron’s business as well as drive improvements for the business.

You will work on and coordinate one or more projects in the domain of Demand Management and Sales & Operations Planning. You will use your previous work experience, academic studies, and common sense to analyze business needs to perform and complete this work.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply academic standard methodologies to improve our current processes and help Micron improve upon demand and supply balancing performance

  • Develop understanding of Micron’s Supply Chain processes and roles through business process analysis and interactions with various stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain and extended Value Chain partners through root cause analysis and evaluation of existing processes

  • Provide recommendations and proposals to Supply Chain leaders on suggested improvements or efficiencies

  • Lead at least one project of meaningful impact to Micron

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Strong background in problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience with using metrics and process analysis techniques to measure work

  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, written and presentation)

  • Ability to work within and across teams

Education:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor/Master in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
