Job Description
Meadow Gold has an immediate job opening for a skilled Electrical Mechanical Industrial Technician , responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.
Job Description:
Employee will abide by Company rules and regulations, including all Good Manufacturing & SQF Practices.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devises to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and clean parts.
Start devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe, mill, drill press, grinder, welders, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts.
Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical devices.
Generates and fills out all necessary forms and paperwork.
Report any safety concerns to the supervisor on duty, or the safety committee representative. Immediately Report all injuries to the supervisor on duty and fill out the appropriate paperwork.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

OUR INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO $30.00/hr, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
3rd Shift: 9pm - 5am

Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Three years of experience required in a maintenance role within a food or beverage manufacturing facility.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
Minimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC.
Minimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to handle basic hand tools.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balance.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment with moderate to high noise volume.
May experience some exposure to fumes airborne particles, chemicals or allergens.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holiday.
