Plan, solicit, book and coordinate large, complex segmentation room sales on behalf of several hotels (referred to as account) located in each assigned geographical area to meet/exceed revenue/profit goals. Give attention to with focus on \"need segments\" identified by the ADOS and RDOS, which will create greatest sales impact on top line revenues.

Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.

Responds in a timely manner to incoming sales opportunities.

Works closely with all three Block 22 Hotels for successful meetings and groups.

Ensures that all business is booked within hotel parameters.

Conducts hotel site inspections and client presentations.

Create contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Manage and maintain client account files.

Prospect for new business participate in sales blitzes, cold calling, and contacting former clients to solicit new business and attends industry events/programs as needed.

Participate in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and the achievement of sales and revenue goals.

Builds and maintains strong client relationships.

Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent education/experience preferred

Two to three full years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization.

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Experience with Delphi.

Knowledge of hotel features, benefits, and competing hotels within the market.

Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.

Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.

Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.

On-site attendance is required.
