As a Donor Relations Director, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idahos youth by building long-lasting partnerships with individual donors in Southern and Eastern Idaho. You will ensure predictable and sustainable relationships, raising significant funds to meet the current and future needs of the organization. Must Haves:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years successful experience in individual major fundraising, preferably in social service or related non-profit field
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Our Donor Relations Director:

  • Collaborates with other members of the development team, programs team, executive leadership, and board of directors, to strategically advance the major donor program in Southern and Eastern Idaho
  • Builds strong relationships with donors and prospective donors, advancing their involvement with our mission
  • Works with IYR program and finance staff to frame fundable projects within agency priorities
  • Collaborates with the development team on all activities

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.

This role is located in Boise, Idaho and candidates need to be within a reasonable distance of our location but are permitted to work hybrid.
