Western Aircraft Part-Time Component Repair Administrator in Boise, Idaho
Job Summary
The Component Repair Intern will support Part Sales Managers, Repair and Overhaul Coordinator, Rotables Lead and MRO Component Services Managers with day-to-day activities associated with meeting Customer demand for Component Repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Complete teardown and paperwork for serviceable seat inventory
Support quote activity for Parts and MRO by locating and photographing components
Coordinates market price evaluation of SV Avionics and Rotables
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Hands on mechanical aptitude and ability to complete manual labor tasks
Effective problem-solving skills with strong follow through required on communication
Read and interpret Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC)
Ability to use tape measures, calipers, and basic tools
Education & Certifications:
Enrollment in a local university or apprenticeship program preferred
Experience in Aviation or Mechanical / Engineering related projects preferred
Other Prerequisites
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Available to work 20-25 hours per week on a mutually agreed schedule
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
