Join FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as our Commercial Business Partner for Process Development and Innovation! In this role, you will support the Commercial DevelopmentLeadership Teamindevelopment,maintenanceand execution ofthe Global sales strategy. Workingacross modalities, thejob holder will help support the achievement of our Commercial goals by working with a range of customers across the US and Europe,specificallyidentifyingand closing on Process Development/early phase contracts.

Essential Functions:

  • Independently prospect in agreed territories, including the identification of key target customers and formulation of a sales strategy/activity plan for that defined territorytobuild strong personal relationships with customers and meet assigned sales targets.

  • Arranging and leading face-to-face meetings with prospectivePD/Innovationcustomers, either visiting them or hosting meetings at FDB sites globallyliaising with the Global PD team.

  • Lead technical discussions in teleconferences andface to facemeetings with potential new customers. Occasionallyface to facemeetings will be remote toBillinghamsite and will require travel.

  • Lead technical review of the proposed scope of work with the client including timeline and pricing feedback.

  • Lead the proposal process for new projects, ensuringtimelydelivery and review of the proposal by the relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Build andmaintaina good working knowledge of the market/competitive landscapein eachterritory.

  • Work in partnership with the FDB PD teams toestablishnew commercial opportunities.

  • Maintain anup to dateknowledge of the CDMO industry, and the biologics market.Be able to offer advice to customers on matters of a scientific,regulatoryand technical nature.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Good technical knowledge.

  • Good market knowledge of the biologics, ATMP fields.

  • Strong collaboration skills.

  • Good influencing skills and the ability to build/maintainstrong networks both internally and externally.

  • Good understanding of commercial issues, with proven negotiation, presentation and selling skills

  • A proactive attitude & ability to work highly independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (e.g.BSc) is required.

  • A higher degree (e.g.MSc, PhD) is preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical role within FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, or another similar business (e.g.CDMO, biotechnology, biopharma) as well assignificant experienceworking with external customers.

  • Substantial theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of Biotechnology, Protein expression and purification, Biologic drug development.The ability to discuss these topics with internal and external customers with confidence.

This is a global position that will support all our FDB sites. This position can be based at any of our locations around the globe. Benefits and compensation will be governed by the location that you are based from and considered your home site.

The US salary range for this position is $125,000k to $ 160,000k_. Pay within this range varies by work location and may alsodepend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations. This position will require access to technicaldata, technology and source code that is controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22 C.F.R. Parts 120– 130 and Export Administration Regulations in 15 C.F.R. Part 730 – 774, as may be amended.
