SUMMARY: The Bilingual/Spanish SME (Subject Matter Expert), a contract position will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of bilingual educational content. This individual will work from home and collaborate closely with content experts, instructional designers, and visual designers to create high-quality, engaging curriculum materials. The SME will leverage their bilingual expertise and instructional design principles to ensure the curriculum meets educational standards and is culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate.

The SME provides support in translating and verifying translations of English content into Spanish. They will work closely with instructional designers and visual designers in support of large-scale production of learning objects within the curriculum. The SME will leverage their technical and organizational skills and will directly contribute to the development of content for our curriculum.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Design and develop bilingual curriculum materials that adhere to evidence-based instructional design principles in grade K-5.
• Collaborate with content experts to create lesson modules and specifications for assets.
• Participate in the early blueprinting and prototyping phases of projects.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate for the target audience.
• Provide technical and instructional design support to the curriculum development teams.
• Utilize technical and organizational skills to contribute directly to the development of curriculum content.
• Ensure consistency and high quality across all curriculum materials.
• Adhere to the company\'s style guidelines and contribute to their development.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Education, Linguistics or Dual Language, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.

Certificates and Licenses

• ESOL Endosement

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:

• Advanced degree in Foreign Language
• Degree in Curriculum design
• Previous experience working in a virtual or remote environment.
• Experience with large-scale production of learning objects.

• Compensation & Benefits:Stride, Inc. considers a person\'s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position\'s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee\'s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position\'s level and expected contribution, and the employee\'s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

• We anticipate this position w ll pay \$29.00 - \$35.00 per hour. This is a temporary/contractor role, and you will be an employee of Randstad. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual\'s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
