Consultant, please conduct seated interview. Period of intendent employment: 5/5/2025-11/14/2025.Location: Quincy, Washington. Three (3) months experience required for the job duties listed.

Job Duties: Alfalfa Hay, Timothy Grass, Organic Corn. Forage crops and other forms of silage The workers will assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to: Operating various equipment for spraying, swathing, baling, and harvesting of Alfalfa and other crops. Proper irrigation is vital to establishing a healthy stand of alfalfa; therefore, the workers must have experience with flood and circle irrigation of alfalfa or similar crops. Workers will be required to do their best to protect and not damage forage crops while working. Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to cultivate, harvest and store crops. Groom and maintain the sod during growing stages. General farming duties such as servicing and repairing equipment, basic facility upkeep and shop work. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. B2) Must have 3 months of experience using farm equipment. Must provide 1 reference to show proof of experience. 4b) Must have a driver\'s license that is valid from their home country 4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs. 4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. 4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, wheelbarrows, fruit containers, etc. 4i) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while sorting, picking, examining, weeding, transporting, pruning, etc. 4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as weeding, irrigating, pruning, picking, removing debris, etc. 4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties, for example picking, sorting, pruning, shoveling, weeding, etcTill soil; cultivate Alfalfa, Timothy, corn, forage crops and silage. Employees will need to operate tractors, irrigation systems, complete general farm labor including ditch repair, weed chopping, and other farm duties as assigned. Cutting and baling crops, fertilizer and chemical application. Workers will be involved in all areas of field preparation, cultivation, and Alfalfa, Timothy, corn, forage crops and silage harvesting. Employees are expected to be able to learn new tasks and be able to work with others and on their own. Workers can perform some irrigation tasks at night if necessary. It would be preferable if the worker had some mechanical and tractor driving skills, but those skills can be taught. This outdoor job can be physically demanding at times. Workers May: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment. Detailed Work Activities Transport animals, crops, or equipment. Drive trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Sell agricultural products. Plant crops, trees, or other plants. Harvest crops Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows hay crops; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining equipment and other tools; operating swathers, rakes, balers; transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another. Perform any combination of the following tasks required in general farm work and the production of hay: adjust alignment of pipes ; adjust gates and pipe connections to control water flow; adjust v lves to start and/or adjust water flow; assemble and place pipe in assigned patterns in fields; evaluate the condition of the crop/weather and adjust harvesting and post-harvest activity based on evaluation; loading/unloading trucks; maintain/drive/attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize, apply chemicals and harvest crops; maintenance of farm structures; operate maintain and repair all components of a sprinkler; operate multiple types of pumps; removal of excess plant growth from farm grounds; remove pipe from fields and place in storage; remove pipe from storage; shovel and pack dirt in low spots or cut trenches to direct water flow; use proper material and methods to repair irrigation equipment IRRIGATION Irrigation Installation/ Repair - Flush out valves and repair drip tape leaks by installing coupler onto drip tape to fix leak. Hoop Install - Job consists installing wire hoops 4ft in length into ground, which is used to hold up sting. This job requires workers to bend over constantly. String Install - Job consists of running string along plants and tying string to hoops. This prevents plants from falling over and or prevents sunburn.
