Quality testing instrumentation and technical support services for research and testing laboratories is hiring for a 2nd shift CNC Lathe Operator. Candidates with minium of 2 years of experience operating Lathe are encouraged to . Open to candidates who recently graduated with certification in CNC or Machining from Suffolk and Farmingdale. Responsibilities

• Able to develop & write programs for the CNC

• Hold close tolerances of +/-.0005

• Able to read blueprints

• Able to determine tools required to machine parts

• Ability to edit exisiting programs

• Check size of parts to be sure they conform to prints

• Monitor tools during operation for wear and breakage

• Operate CNC after set up

• Able to read micrometers and other inspection equipment
