A leading manufacturing company in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and writing CNC programs, editing existing programs, and working with tight tolerances. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to use precision measurement tools effectively. Please and attach your resume if you're interested!

work hours: 3:30 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

• Create and write programs using CAPS (Mori Seiki) for CNC lathe machines.

• Modify and refine existing programs to optimize performance and ensure accuracy.

• Select and identify the appropriate tooling required for each program and job.

• Work within precise tolerance limits of ±0.0005 inches.

• Utilize measurement tools, such as micrometers, to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and quality standards.

• Sharpen and maintain cutting tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Proven experience with CNC lathe operations and programming.
