Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a temp-to-hire Data Entry Triage Pharmacy Technician for our partner in Boca Raton, FL.

The anticipated wage for this position is between $20 and $22. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Certified Pharmacy Technician- Date Entry Triage

Evaluates/triages incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely and accurate entry into pharmacy operations system. Routes incoming calls to appropriate department/individual. Receives, processes, and follows-up on refill requests. The schedule is 10 am- 6:30 pm with alternating weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):

· Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing; ensure proper "stat" coding

· Accurately enter prescriptions into operating system to eliminate errors

· Courteously respond to calls from customers, routing them as appropriate

· Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth workflow in the department

· Ensure all prescriptions assigned for processing are completed in regular shift

· Receive, evaluate, process, and follow up as needed with doctor offices on all refills assigned

· Assists, when time allows for filling of completed orders, profiling of orders for medical records, and also, may at times fill processed prescriptions to dispense

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or GED

· Florida Pharmacy Technician license and/or National Certification

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)

· Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required

· Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
