Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Boca Raton, Florida. The individual in this role will work closely with both the IT department and internal customers, focusing on gathering and documenting user requirements and specifications for both existing and new financial reports and business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine systems and tools for effective data management, visualization, and interpretation, including systems design, dashboards, information graphics, mapping, and Power BI.

• Build and deploy processes to ensure timely data-loading while maintaining accuracy and relevance of data used within the business.

• Provide technical assistance and build understanding among partners about the effective use of data.

• Work with internal clients to identify systems and process solutions that will enable new business opportunities.

• Advise on new data infrastructure technologies, including data-warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.

• Understand fundamentals of current ERP systems and attend meetings with management to assess business needs.

• Review and interrogate large amounts of data to determine the characteristics as well as the integrity of the data.

• Utilize skills such as Microsoft Power BI, Gathering Requirements, Data Cleansing, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, and SQL.

• Experience in report creation, modeling, and trend forecasting is essential.

• Strong background in SQL with experience performing administrative tasks on SQL servers is helpful. Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required for this role

• Ability to gather and interpret requirements effectively

• Skilled in data cleansing, ensuring that data is accurate and usable

• Demonstrable experience in business analysis, with the ability to understand and address business needs

• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights

• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language), with the ability to perform database queries and manipulate data

• Experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders across different departments

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions to business issues

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently

• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently when required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
