Adecco is partnering with one of the nation's largest, most innovative long-term care pharmacy services providers in recruiting for a Data Entry/Records Clerk in Boca Raton.

Must have a current Florida Pharmacy Technician license- National Certification is a plus.

Experience in a long-term care for pharmacy is a big plus but not required.

The anticipated wage for this position is between $20 and $23. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsible for entering and processing prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system with both speed and accuracy. Communicates with customers on the telephone and responds quickly and courteously to their needs. The schedule is 12:30 pm- 8 pm with alternating weekends

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system

· Triage incoming fax prescriptions

· Calculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription

· Receive, evaluate, process and follow-up as needed with doctors' offices

· Develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems

· On an as needed, may assist with filing of completed orders, packaging of medications, inventory, profiling of orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions

· Develop and learn cycle in order to meet delivery deadlines. Maintain data entry records for cycle medication, fill requests and process cycle medication orders needing renewal in addition to new cycle orders as applicable

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)

· Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years of related experience

· Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred

· Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
