Job Overview:

APTIM is seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to support on FDOT projects. This is a field position to support the QA/QC activities. Responsibilities may also include supporting additional APTIM Projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction project, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with FDOT specifications and schedules.
  • Supervise and perform inspections of construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, FDOT standards, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, change orders, submittals, and correspondence with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction quality are met and maintained throughout the project.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors, and engineers for collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Act as a liaison between FDOT, contractors, and stakeholders for clear and effective communication and coordination.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with FDOT regulations and environmental standards, along with the safety protocols.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are completed withing financial constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida.
  • Previous experience in FDOT projects.
  • Project Management certification.
