We are looking for Machine Operators to join an innovative company in the Blythewood area. If you can ensure the safe and efficient packing of products, while utilizing your experience as a machine operator in a high-speed manufacturing environment; we have the job for you! This is a 3rd shift position on a 2 - 2 - 3 schedule that begins at $17 hour but will raise pay to $22+/hour after permament employment.

salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour

shift: Third

work hours: 7 PM - 7 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Sets up and produces plastic extruded film by performing the following duties.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Set up and run a TWQ extruder machine at required specifications

• Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.

• Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.

• Makes minor adjustments such as adjusting edge guides, width adjustments, machine settings, loading rolls onto skid and banding them.

• Inspects film per testing methods and for defects to ensure that product is according to specifications.

• Accurately reporting production and labeling rolls.

• Perform quality testing and ensure product is within customer specifications.

• Use roll cart, hoist and tilt locks to load rolls onto a skid.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes
