Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Production Scheduling Engineer. The role includes, but is not limited to the following.

• Working closely with teammates across the division to help improve product flow and develop recommendations to standardize, improve or redesign processes and systems to meet production scheduling needs.

• Identify trends and recommend proactive actions to manage logistics.

• Assist with performance-reporting systems and tools to measure department and facility on-time performance

• Support facility review of material/process flows to identify opportunities for increased effectiveness, utilization, and performance.

• Ability to schedule all areas of the mill.

• Facilitate discussions between sales and scheduling team to ensure optimized product scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Manufacturing scheduling/supply chain management experience
