Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and control all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) functions for new jobs awarded to Almco, including all new tooling program launch activities.
• Oversee customer service activities to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Manage Program Management responsibilities related to new business opportunities or changes to existing business.
• Collaborate with external die and fixture design vendors to implement improvements or modifications to new or existing tooling as necessary.
• Verify that all design features are as intended and ensure that all authorized design changes are accomplished and properly documented.
• Maintain appropriate technical training and stay current with developments in the relevant field of expertise.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT), welding symbols/specifications, and surface finish requirements.
• Actively participate as a member of the APQP and Continuous Improvement Teams, contributing to process enhancements and efficiency improvements.

The Program Manager reports directly to and is fully accountable to the President of the company.

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, particularly with steel stamping and assemblies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

**[Language Skills: [Must possess ability to read and interpret documents such as company safety rules, process/work instructions, and ISO operating procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers and employees of Almco Steel Products.
