Robert Half Paralegal in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high volume environment, supporting our insurance defense litigation practice. This is a demanding role that requires a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can efficiently multi-task.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of insurance defense litigation cases

• Review and organize medical records for use in legal proceedings

• Participate in the discovery and document production processes

• Assist with the selection and coordination of experts

• Contribute to trial preparation, including the drafting of briefs and management of evidence

• Handle complaints and claims administration effectively

• Manage calendars and organize case-related meetings and appointments

• Utilize case management software to maintain organized and up-to-date case files

• Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis

• Perform billing functions and manage financial records related to cases

• Use Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat for data management and document creation. Requirements • Possession of a paralegal certification or degree

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role

• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document management

• Experience with case management software for handling legal cases

• Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research

• Experience with management systems for organizing and coordinating tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting

• Knowledge of billing functions in a legal environment

• Experience in briefing teams or individuals about legal matters

• Ability to manage calendars, including scheduling meetings and deadlines

• Experience in claim administration, including processing and tracking claims

• Proficiency in complaint handling, including receiving, processing, and resolving complaints

• Experience in medical malpractice law is preferred.
