Montgomery County Community College MLT Microbiology Lab Faculty (Part-time Applicant Pool) in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the MLT Microbiology Lab Faculty (Part-time Applicant Pool) position.  The MLT Microbiology Lab Faculty (Part-time Applicant Pool) teach assigned courses in a manner that facilitates student learning and mastery of course material. Part-Time faculty are encouraged to participate in course and curriculum development, program and course assessment, student advisement, college service, and professional development.

 *This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police and FBI Fingerprint clearances prior to their start date.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Education/Training/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science required.
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification with recent clinical microbiology work experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates of all abilities. Teaching experience, especially at a community college, preferred.
  • Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
