Job Title: Director of Production Operations

Job Description

The Director of Production Operations will oversee the Production Department, ensuring both short- and long-term production strategies are in place. This role is responsible for managing staff and systems, overseeing information and cost management, and developing processes and policies that align with company interests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Programmer to ensure quality and process during sign-off and set-up stages of print production.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.

• Oversee daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer expectations.

• Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with design, procurement, and sales teams to align production capabilities with business objectives.

• Provide strong leadership to production managers, supervisors, and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee maintenance and upgrades of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

• Oversee production activities of the agency’s clients, primarily direct mail, including estimating, scheduling, project management, vendor management, pre-press, printing/personalization, and letter shop services.

• Attend weekly Operations status meetings.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

• 10+ years of experience in production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the print manufacturing industry preferred.

• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.

• Strong knowledge of print manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Will work together with Charissa to put together their benefits for person. These will be same as full time folks
