SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY (NRM) Wafer Photo Process Engineering Intern - Summer 2025 in Bloomington, Minnesota
About our group: Seagate's Wafer Operations Photolithography Process Engineering organization is seeking an Engineering Intern to conduct trials and participate in continuous improvement projects during summer 2025. This position will be located in Seagate's Bloomington, MN facility. About the role - you will: Develop technical understanding of one or more Photolithography process tools used in the wafer manufacturing process, as well as the process responses Perform process trials, working in a cleanroom environment to complete product trials and process improvements for Seagate's recording head products Utilize software tools as needed for data analysis and presentation to complete projects and assist Photo engineers. About you: Strong Communication skills Highly motivated and self-directed Your experience includes: Interest in nano-fabrication processes/operations Statistics and Data Analysis experience using MatLab, R, Excel, JMP or Python. Completed at least two years of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Material Science Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
