Robert Half's Legal Practice is excited to be partnering with an innovative SAAS company in search of a Senior Contracts Specialist. The position is based in Bloomington, Minnesota and involves managing the administration of new and existing sales-based contracts with clients, providing guidance to teams, and ensuring commercial and legal terms align with company policies and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the review and processing of standard contracts that originate in the field, including the final execution of the contract document and related placement of documents in Salesforce for reference.

• Review and assess client contract documents for new services, which often require non-routine contract management.

• Establish a framework for administering non-standard contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies, and client expectations.

• Understand and assess implications of legal and commercial contract terms on proper revenue recognition criteria.

• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other internal teams in preparing 3rd party contracts related to the company’s sales activities. This includes modifying language in contracts to track company’s established business and legal policies.

• Independently analyze unusual contractual requirements and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures to produce contract documents that meet high standards of legal protection.

• Provide guidance to other Contracts staff as well as the Sales team on contract administration processes.

• Periodically review and assess vendor/supplier contract documents.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2+ years of contract administration experience

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating contracts

• Must be flexible in order to meet needs and timelines of global clients operating in various time zones

• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a multi-task environment within specified deadlines with minimal supervision
