About our group: Our New Product Development (NPD) planning team supports Seagate's Recording Head Technology group with documentation, schedule adherence, and demand/supply analysis during the qualification of complex Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) technologies and products. About the role - you will: * Analyze planning and inventory processes and requirements unique to HAMR development * Generate/modify spreadsheets, build documentation, and presentations * Collaborate with our global planning, operations, and engineering teams to identify and implement efficiencies to our current systems * Network with cross-functional core team members and other Summer 2025 Seagate interns on creative solutions as issues arise About you: * Enthusiastic learner and self-starter with an inherent attention to detail * Innovative problem solver who embraces change and challenges for the learning experience * Able to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships with cross functional teams Your experience includes: * Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, and Copilot * Demonstrated data analysis skills * Focused on continuous improvement * Pursuing a BA or MA in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or related program; must be enrolled in Fall 2025 classes Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
