Robert Half Medical Receptionist in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description We are in search of a Medical Receptionist to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an integral part of our operations, utilizing various software and systems to manage patient interactions, maintain patient records, and support clinical trial operations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM to manage patient records and facilitate clinical operations.

• Act as the first point of contact for patients, answering inbound calls and addressing inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

• Conduct billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient payments and insurance claims.

• Maintain and update patient charts and graphs to accurately reflect patient history and treatment plans.

• Support clinical trial operations, assisting in the coordination and administration of trials as needed.

• Assist in the management of patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.

• Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized reception area to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality guidelines to ensure patient information is protected.

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

• Continuously develop professional skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM.

• Ability to answer and manage inbound calls efficiently.

• Familiarity with billing functions in a medical setting.

• Proficient in creating and interpreting charts and graphs.

• Experience in managing and coordinating clinical trial operations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures.

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.

• Experience in customer service will be advantageous.
