HealthPartners Manager, IT Security Administration in Bloomington, Minnesota

HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Manager, IT Security Administration. This position manages IT Security Administration staff, budget, and services. The manager ensures that identity and access management is effective, efficient, and timely. It promotes centralized security administration; providing the appropriate tools and support to Security Administrators to accommodate user growth, regulatory compliance, role-based access controls, and timely response to account administration requests. This role develops excellent relationships with IT and Business Partners across the HealthPartners enterprise. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in information technology or equivalent training/experience 3+ years managing Information Technology staff. 6+ years within Information Technology 3+ years' experience within Security Administration or Security Analysis Budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management skills Strong understanding of technologies, systems, databases, and Information Technology infrastructures Proficient communications skills, oral and written; including the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical customers. Strong people skills Excellent critical thinking skills. Strong knowledge of infrastructure integration and securities (Linux, Unix, Windows, Oracle, SAN technologies, etc.) Experience utilizing security tools. Strong understanding of role based security. Strong understanding of Epic Security functions and roles Strong knowledge of standard security and control practices (e.g., ISO27001 and ISO27002, NIST security standards, Cloud Computing Standards, OWASP, CoBit, etc.) Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, Gramm Leach Bliley, etc.) Project management experience Excellent desktop tool experiences (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Strong understanding of Active Directory and other access management applications. Strong understanding of multiple Identity and Access Management products. Preferred Qualifications: CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent certification Hours/Location: M-F; Days Position may work remotely but will prefer local candidates for occasional onsite needs. Accountabilities: Responsible for the supervision of staff, including having the authority to hire, transfer, lay off, promote, discipline and discharge, train, reward, and review performance of employees. Ensures compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Partners with IT Risk and Compliance and within IT Security Management to develop, maintain, and publish account provision procedures, standards, and policies. Manages and maintains security administration functions; ensuring effective, efficient, and timely access management. Manage the integration and implementation of identity and access management solutions; promoting role based access controls and privilege management. Partners with Security Services and Business areas to design and develop Identity and Access Management configuration and architecture. Ensures that Epic Security functions are coordinated and managed across all modules and business groups. Develops, manages, and maintains the budget and expenditures for IT Security Administration. Oversees the implementation of control and security requirements within IT Security Administration; ensuring the appropriate evidence and oversight is provided for compliance. Partners across IT and with HealthPartners Business Partners to ensure IT Security Administration is addressing application and system access provisioning and management needs. Ensures that account audits are timely to reduce the risk of inappropriate access. Reports on Access provisioning metrics; assessing trends and the impact of proposed provisioning solutions on trends. Assesses account provisioning processes and tools; proposing solutions and process improvements that will reduce bureaucracy, increase administrative timeliness, minimize error, and allow f r the expansion of IT Security Administration services. Develops, mentors, and maintains a cohesive team; providing growth and learning opportunities to Security Administration staff. Partners within IT Security Management to develop and implement a strong security program. Partners with IT Risk and Compliance to ensure regulatory compliance and to provide subject matter expertise for risk assessment, management, and mitigation.
