Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Finance Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Financial Analyst Senior - Accounting Officer Coordinator! This position will support the development of budgets and reporting for divisions within DCT. As a Financial Analyst Senior, you will work with leadership and staff in their assigned program(s)/site(s) to help them identify and prioritize funding in alignment with the strategic goals in the DCT strategic plan and monitor their progress toward achieving these goals. This position will coordinate the development of annual operating budgets, including but not limited to quarterly reports, annual reports, project summaries, and other ad-hoc financial projections. You will also work to facilitate specific projects across DCT or with external partners at the direction of the Budget Manager. Finally, this position will provide management with information necessary for decision-making, process improvement, and long range organizational or systems planning.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and consultative expertise to DCT site directors, program managers, and program executives to develop and coordinate strategic long-range planning and operational strategies so that agency objectives are met, and financial resources are used effectively, efficiently, and economically.

  • Direct and coordinate annual operating budget development based on guidelines and timeframes established by the DCT Executive Committee.

  • Assist the Budget/Legislative Manager with the development of the Biennial Budget and Supplemental Budget requests for DCT. Identify areas of process improvement and manage improvement projects within the financial department.

  • Develop and provide training for DCT personnel throughout the system so that staff are informed and able to deal with fiscal issues involving all aspects and functions within DCT. Train DCT personnel in the interpretation of financial reports to make sound business decisions regarding DCT programs and services. Develop and create base financial reports and dashboards for publication.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of accounting or budgeting experience, which includes the experience below:

  • Experience with accounting principles, practices, and reporting tools.

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis.

  • Experience with financial systems and software including Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with SWIFT, general ledger, billing, accounts receivable, fixed assets, decision support, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience in healthcare or residential treatment setting.

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes.
