Harmon Inc Engineering Specialist in Bloomington, Minnesota

Harmon, Inc. You will leverage your technical expertise, product knowledge, and industry experience to provide one or more services supporting the design, analysis, and optimization of our curtain wall systems. You will collaborate closely with the design, operations, and manufacturing teams to provide technical support, conduct engineering analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Area of focus include thermal analysis, die design/modeling, BIM modeling, and 3D modeling. POSITION DESCRIPTION Your top priority is providing technical support and engineering analysis to ensure successful designs and effective system implementation meeting project specifications, schedule, and engineering standards. Review project specifications, drawings, and related documentation.Conduct analysis using appropriate tools, specified performance requirements, and standard system capabilities. Conduct engineering analysis utilizing appropriate software tools, apply engineering standards, performance requirements, and manufacturing effectiveness. Provide engineering and drafting deliverables for proposals and projects aligned with identified priorities and overall schedules. EXPERIENCE Associate degree in engineering, drafting, design or related field. Minimum of 5 years curtain wall industry experience in engineering, drafting, or design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software required for specialty area (i.e., Revit, Inventor, BIM, Therm, Optics). Relevant experience in area of specialization.
