AON Early Careers: Reinsurance Broking Analyst in Bloomington, Minnesota

    What the day will look like as a Reinsurance Broking Analyst

    Within Aon's Reinsurance Solutions team, gain valuable experience by assisting account executives through both client work and internal projects. With the opportunity to learn and grow as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, you'll gain experience and exposure across a broad segment of clients as well.

    Our brokers help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through creative solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers. Brokers work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team, which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. New brokers will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.

    These roles fall under Aon’s Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 9-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls .

    Qualifications:

    Rising seniors graduating between Spring 2024 – Spring 2025 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary for this position is $69,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance, various types of leaves of absence, paid time off, including 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 15 days of paid vacation per year, paid sick leave as provided under state and local paid sick leave laws, short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance; optional personal insurance policies, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, and an employee assistance p rogram that includes free counseling sessions.
