Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for handling legal documents within a law firm. This role involves tasks centered around document management and clerical duties, making it crucial for the candidate to be well versed with various office software and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize legal documents efficiently

• Scan and digitize documents, ensuring they are correctly stored within the management system

• Respond to and resolve any incoming queries relating to document management

• Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat, A-Systems, and Epic Software for various tasks

• Handle inbound calls professionally, providing necessary assistance and information

• Conduct clerical duties such as correspondence, maintaining charts and graphs, and other related tasks

• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions based on their status

• Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all customer credit records

• Maintain a high level of organization within the workspace to allow for smooth operations

• Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements

• Excellent written communication skills for handling correspondence.

• Familiarity with maintaining and organizing filing systems, both electronic and physical.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
