[Senior-Level and Entry-Level CNC Programmer Milling and Waterjet Department [Aerospace Company based in Bloomfield is seeking highly motivated and results driven CNC Programmer /Machinists for Milling, Lathe and Waterjet Department to join our growth oriented and forward-thinking team of professionals. We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts.   • Develop and implement CNC programs for machining centers, waterjet centers and lathes using CAD/CAM software.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create efficient and accurate CNC programs.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials and operations.
  • Perform test runs and adjust programs to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Collaborate with machinists and management to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming and machining.
  • Maintain and update CNC program libraries and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Effectively communicate with shop floor supervisor and production control manager
  • Maintain a clean work environment

[Qualifications and Skill Requirements]{"",serif"=""}

5 or more years of CNC machine tool experience in a manufacturing environment

Read and understand blueprints

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming

Familiarity with various CNC machines, including milling machines, lathes, and multi-axis machines

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
