Industrial Maintenance/Electrical Technician

• Location: Blairsville, Pennsylvania
• Pay rate: $20.00-$30.00  per hour
• Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 7:00 AM -- 3:00 PM with possible overtime

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician will ensure the continuous operation of all production equipment/machinery through preventative maintenance and repairs.

• Maintain a checklist with dates for preventative maintenance.
• Order necessary parts to maintain equipment/machinery
• Maintain inventory on all parts for items that take time to order or are needed frequently.  Maintain list of all parts.
• Troubleshooting problems that may arise with any equipment/machinery within facility to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate and construct equipment/machinery that will improve the production process.
• Estimate the amount of time & cost for repairs to equipment/machinery if parts need to be ordered.  Report to Plant Manager or Manage.
• Must be willing to work overtime to make repairs on equipment/machinery or building.
• Make repairs to the facility, including electrical and heating systems.
• Maintain plant & grounds outside including plowing snow and salting outside walkways.
• Must be vigilant at all times for unsafe conditions that may exist in and outside of the building.
• Maintain workshop in a clean and organized fashion.
• All safety rules must be adhered to at all times.
• Other responsibilities may be added to this list at the discretion of the plant management.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years working experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician.  
• Experience in programmable logic, pneumatic systems, electrical experience from 120 to 480 volts, 3 phase electrical circuits, boiler systems, plumbing, welding and carpentry.
• Ability to understand prints and wiring schematics.
