Description
IT STRATEGY
Drive clear and measurable results of ELC's technology strategy and connect that strategy with the overall Corporate strategy and compass.
Develop and enable the implementation of overall ELC's technology architecture strategy and roadmap.
Engage business and technology leaders to develop, prioritize and execute scalable solutions for the business.
Enable the delivery of business outcomes, identify critical deficiencies as well as opportunities for technology transformation, propose solutions.
Support technology organization in achievement of key strategic objectives (e.g. increased adoption of agile).
Identify opportunities to standardize technology landscape for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management, while maintaining business responsiveness.
Partner with VP Innovation and New Business Products to maintain list of approved technologies and identify relevant new technologies, drive a regular flow of innovation projects that closely align to strategy.
Act as a trusted advisor, build and maintain relationships with business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs and opportunities for technology solution advancements/improvements.
Leverage influencing and negotiation skills across the enterprise to enable cost⁃effective and innovative solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends in order to be competitive in the market.
Collaborate with HR and IT leadership team to design an efficient workforce with multi⁃faceted competencies including both business knowledge and technical skills. Mentor, attract and retain key talent within ELC.
EM&D TECHNOLOGIES
Serve as Beauty Tech point of contact for IT, bringing Online, EM&D and IT points of view together to identify and leverage synergies for go⁃to⁃market commercial solutions, improved operational model and innovative public relations.
Partner with EM&D executives to co⁃create, build and deploy various marketing, creative and data and analytics solutions that support achievement of commercial agenda for ELC.
Define and execute the long⁃term technology implementation roadmap enabling EM&D functions and end⁃user needs.
Provide leadership, mentorship, inspiration and vision to Enterprise Marketing & Data functions and IT teams to deepen knowledge, elevate and insource skill sets and improve quality delivery to the business in line with each group's strategies.
Ensure roadmaps, budgets and project deliverables align with IT strategy and ELC strategy.
Rationalize consulting and vendor relationships holistically, elevate to strategic partnership.
Lead Data Transformation in partnership with VP D&A Technology Lead and SVP Global Data & Analytics to ensure readiness and strong foundation is built ahead of NEXT program. Ensure executive awareness, alignment and confidence.
Ensure that the Global Data and Analytics & Marketing & Creative strategies and technology needs are well understood and acted upon across the entire IT organization.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Constantly drive towards excellence in delivery and transition the team to DataOps, Agile and modern ways of working..
Attract, groom, and elevate key talent and partners within this tech space.
Design and deliver robust org expansion to in⁃source competitive skills needed to win in this area.
Regularly demonstrate pristine communication, lateral influencing skills, strong business acumen and flexibility in working within a matrixed organization where responsibilities and accountabilities are divided amongst many cross⁃functional teams.

Demonstrated business acumen and ability to stay ahead of and incorporate innovative new technologies.

Demonstrated ability to identify necessary modifications as well as enable new architecture solutions.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development and the ability to lead transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
Proven experience influencing key decision makers or senior executives in a large, cross⁃functional team setting.
Sees technology as an enabler, competitive differentiator, and passionate about driving tech.
Leadership Capabilities:
Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated experience delivering business outcomes enabled by technology.
Ability to lead in a complex business relationship/matrix model where effective influencing and partnering with regional leads will be essential in driving alignment and business results.
High sense of urgency to influence change and drive outcomes from conception to delivery.
Act as a functional technology thought and business leader serving as a trusted advisor to EM&D leadership.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.

Collaborative and able to build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, possess strong lateral influencing ability.
