CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time Care Coordination Assistant to join the team!

Responsible for ensuring appropriate communication with third party payers to authorize hospital days. The Care

Management Associate obtains information from clinical reviews done by the case manager as well as patient medical

information from other computer applications utilized by the facility.

What You'll Do:

1. Utilizes case management software to generate work lists

2. Submits clinical information per third party payer requirements

3. Upon identification of possible concurrent denial, forwards information to appropriate case manager

4. Notifies third party payer of patient discharge and secures all days

5. Assists with non-clinical functions to coordinate care transitions

6. Utilizes effective communication skills to accurately complete work

7. Collaborates effectively with all department staff to achieve goals and objectives

Qualifications

Highschoool Diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

$15.51 - $20.745 /hour
