Copy Writer Intern Remote, United States - OneStream Software LLC Employment Type  Internship (Full-Time) ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for candidates who are interested in pursuing internship opportunities with OneStream Software. We are a financial software company, headquartered in Rochester, Michigan. We offer a financial consolidation software, and marketplace solutions, to large organizations across the world. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we offer our customers the ability to store their data using Microsoft Azure. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) industry. Our internships run from June 10th, 2024 - August 16th, 2024 and are up to 40 hours per week with competitive pay. RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a Copy Editor to join our team and work with product marketers, graphic designers, video creators, web team, field marketers, social media team and events team to ensure all content adheres to our organization's tone of voice and brand guidelines. Ultimately, you will work with several teams across the organization to ensure our content meets our brand's guidelines and all copy is accurate and free of grammatical errors. Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times. * Proofread and modify text to check for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors. * Growth opportunities to write new content for customer case studies, video testimonials, presentation scripts and webinars. * Must have the ability to manage several projects at a time and meet deadlines. * Needs to be detail-oriented and catch small mistakes before final content is published. * Stay abreast of the latest media trends and content best practices. * Compile and update style guides as required for brand voice and consistent messaging. * Collaborate with team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping the target audience in mind. * Excellent communication skills in a hybrid work environment Internship areas are based on previous years and can be subject to change DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Formal Education and Certification In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in a relevant business area 4 GPA or higher Junior, senior, and graduate-level students preferred Previous internship experience is nice to have, but not necessarily required Personal Attributes Highly motivated and self-directed Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills Know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations Comfort with speaking to individuals and presenting to large groups Strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong ability in building and maintaining positive relationships Proven ability to identify and resolve problems while maintaining professionalism Strong organizational skills across both a team and individual setting Able to work
