Join us as a Sourcing Technician and take charge of managing all pattern activities with vendors, including new purchases, modifications, repairs, and maintenance. Coordinate seamless transitions of patterns between vendors as needed. Share valuable insights on patterns, core boxes, gating, and rigging with vendors. Offer alternative product solutions to customers when required items are unavailable. Analyze casting and manufacturing capabilities of potential vendors. Maintain a comprehensive database for patterns and drawings. Collaborate with current and potential vendors while assisting the Purchasing procurement group in related areas. Drive the sale of obsolete equipment by overseeing advertising, pricing, disassembly, and liability considerations. Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must exhibit a thorough knowledge of AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe manufacturing processes and product lines, patterns, castings, pattern rigging, and molding techniques or similar processes and products.
2. Must exhibit the ability to recognize configurations of castings, coatings and linings of AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe products or similar products.
3. Must exhibit the ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering data tables.
4. Must exhibit a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software such as Word, Excel, etc.
5. Must exhibit good interpersonal skills to appropriately communicate via telephone or E-mail with vendors and internal customers.
6. Must exhibit the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required in order to perform the job duties and represent the company when needed.

Ideal Candidate

1. Prior work experience with patterns and knowledge of casting techniques.
2. Experience working with ASI.
