Job Skills / Requirements

After-Hours Branch Manager

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the private security industry.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm, assess situations quickly, and implement appropriate actions based on security standards and business realities.

  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-call responsibilities.

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and utilize industry-related software.

  • Ability to meet Security Engineers’ approved driver qualifications.

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • Experience with recruiting software (KWANTEK/HIRE) and security management software (WinTeam, Officer Apps).

  • Current or former Security Engineers employee in good standing with strong references.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary after-hours point of contact for Security Engineers (SE) operations, particularly where no site-level or non-post-assigned SE leadership is present.

  • Support Dispatch & Scheduling by managing last-minute schedule changes, handling callouts, and deploying replacement staff as needed.

  • Monitor and assess staffing levels and resource deployment to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Provide guidance and support to security officers in handling incidents and unusual situations.

  • Establish and follow clear communication protocols for escalating major incidents, including alarms, emergencies, or client concerns, and engage site officers, client contacts, or SE leadership as appropriate.

  • Ensure that incident reports are completed and forwarded to senior management.

  • Assist in evaluating employee performance using Officer Apps and TeamTime.

  • Relay performance concerns or commendations to local management for appropriate follow-up.

  • Oversee compliance with company protocols for workplace injuries, including officer welfare checks, documentation, and drug testing coordination.

  • Proactively monitor and respond to vehicle safety alerts, coaching officers on safe driving behaviors.

  • Review and address TeamTime clock-in/out discrepancies, working with officers to improve performance.

  • Actively utilize and manage officer management software to ensure operational effectiveness.

    Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
