Description
We are currently seeking a Help Desk Technician I to join our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity within the tech industry. As a Help Desk Technician I, you will be the initial point of contact for technical support, providing excellent customer service while diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first contact for users seeking technical assistance over calls, emails, or tickets.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems, including issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Document user issues accurately and track these issues using the help desk ticketing system.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance support processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to provide effective support.
• Handle the escalation of complex technical issues to Level Two Support or other relevant teams as necessary.
• Assist in the configuration, installation, and setup of computer systems and peripherals.
• Maintain and update the asset inventory regularly.
• Provide user training and support on various software applications and tools, including Office 365, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and Azure.
• Contribute to a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and solutions.
Requirements
• Associates, Bachelors or Technical degree is not a requirement but nice to have
• CompTIA A
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is a must for the role of Help Desk Analyst I
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP is required
• Experience with Active Directory is essential
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is necessary for the position
