Robert Half Systems Administrator in Binghamton, New York

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Binghamton, New York. This role is pivotal in the Information Technology industry and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. As a Systems Administrator, you will manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 suite of tools and applications to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless integration and operation of all tools and applications. • Respond to complex problems escalated by the help desk staff pertaining to the Microsoft 365 tenant, providing effective and timely solutions. • Deliver a roadmap and delivery strategies for the Microsoft 365 suite of tools and applications, ensuring they are utilized effectively and efficiently. • Provide support and training for the Microsoft 365 suite to enhance user experience and productivity. • Manage cloud integrations and migrations, ensuring data integrity and security. • Monitor and maintain customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, maintaining accurate customer credit records. • Develop and maintain basic scripting and development skills using PowerShell. • Exhibit strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Maintain confidentiality and personal integrity in all aspects of the role. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Enterprise

• Experience with SharePoint

• Expertise in cloud integrations

• Demonstrated experience in cloud migration

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
