Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Retail Manager for Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. Our Food Retail Manager will oversee multiple Retail Dining venues including a combination of Local Brands and Sodexo Brands. Strong marketing and merchandising background preferred to drive retail sales with a focus on executing an innovative strategy to grow revenue. Typically shift would be Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 4 pm. (2 days off in a row.)You can enjoy Major Holidays off!

We are looking for a positive innovative, strategic leader who loves developing strong teams and creating an excellent student dining experience, furthering our reputation as an academic leader in the northwest. This is a Night owl operation that is open 7 nights a week from 9pm-1am, serving 12-1,000 customers. The menu includes a short order grill, Milkshakes & Ice cream, rotating exhibition/action station, salad-deli bar---and full retail offering. The nightly staff of 10-12 is a mixture of full time and student employees. Responsibilities include; Staffing, maintaining all Unit policies & standards with quality, customer service, sanitation and safety. A successful skill set will include; Food production/preparation, Human resource management, customer service and knowledge of finances. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader to lead a talented team of professionals offering a benchmark student dining experience.

Are you the one? The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 2 - 4 years successful management experience in high volume dining - background in Food National Retail Brands preferred.

• a proven successful record of maintaining brand standards, strong cash handling, and use of food management systems for ordering and inventory.
