Budget Title: Postdoctoral Associate (SL-1)

Salary: $52,500 (full-time, 12-month, temporary)

The laboratory of Dr. Jennifer Hirschi has an open position for a Postdoctoral Associate in the area of mechanistic chemistry. Candidates with a PhD in computational chemistry are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee research projects in the Hirschi group in the Chemistry Department at Binghamton University.

The successful applicant should be highly motivated, an independent researcher, and a team player. This is intended to be a two-year appointment. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry

  • Publication in peer-reviewed scientific journal

Preferred:

  • Experience in computational chemistry
