Job Title: Paint Technician

Job Description

The Paint Technician position is responsible for various paint prep processes, primarily involving the masking and taping of product parts prior to the finishing process. This role is designed to develop the necessary skill sets to become a proficient manufacturing painter. Responsibilities include applying tape and protective paper to parts, de-masking painted parts, placing plugs in metal parts, sanding imperfections, learning powder and/or liquid painting techniques under supervision, performing quality inspections, and maintaining inventory of masking products.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Binghamton, New York.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment and machinery, involving noise. The role primarily requires standing for extended periods, occasionally up to six hours per day, and lifting objects up to 50lbs. Some tasks may require sitting for short durations.
